Black Mountain Wake Park is the best place to go if you want to learn this exhilarating sport

There’s nothing quite like wakeboarding. It’s a cross between water skiing, snowboarding and surfing that makes a great workout and the perfect way to express some of that inner creativity.

The good news is that it’s easy to learn the basics although it may take some practice to master.

The wake-boarding park at Black Mountain is situated directly next to Black Mountain Water Park so you can enjoy both activities in one day.

This state of the art facility utilizes cable runs almost 900 metres long to provide the driving force for the boarders.

For the more advanced wake boarders there are obstacles and ramps that can be incorporated into your routines.

Qualified lifeguards are on hand to keep your safe and offer assistance plus a dedicated rescue boat is on standby to bring you back when you wipe-out.

The park is open daily from 10:00am – 5:00pm

Prices

The minimum session is 2 hours long but if you’re dedicated and plan to participate regularly then it may be better to purchase a monthly pass.

2 hours costs 600 baht

4 hours costs 900 baht

1200 baht for the full day

5000 baht covers a 1 week pass

15000 baht is the cost of a 1 month pass
